Coach Teasley

Head Coach

Coach Teasley has been the head coach since the organization was established . As Head Coach, Coach Teasley works closely with Colleges, prep schools and Jr. college coaches to insure that our players have the best opportunities at the next level. Coach Teasley played 2 years at Wilkes Community College before getting a scholarship to PIU. After leaving PIU he played professionally in Germany briefly. He has been coaching for 11 years with stops at Durham School of the Arts, Lakewood Montessori and Currently at East Wake High.

Coach Jackson

Assistant Head Coach

Coach Kamalee Jackson has been with us since the very beginning as our Assistant Coach. He has played an itricate role in supporting Coach Teasley’s mission and shares the same passion. Coach Jackson is responsible for the training and mentorship of the athletes on and off the floor. Coach Jackson played briefly with Coach Teasley at PIU. Upon leaving PIU he immediately turned to coaching, having coached going on his 7th year. Coach Jackson has served as an Assistant coach at Research Triangle Charter Academy for one year and Northern Durham High School for five years. Coach Jackson is currently the Head Men’s JV and Varsity Assitant Basketball Coach for Voyager Academy.

Coach Johnson

Coach Reggie Johnson, Graduated from Southern high school and attended NCCU. A.D. and Head Coach for RTCA boys Basketball. Assistant Coach for RTCA Girls and Jordan High school Girls basketball. I've been coaching for over 8 years and training for 6 years. Giving back to the community is the name of the game!

Coach Bassett

Assistant Head Coach

Glen Bassett is from Mount Vernon, NY. Graduated of Shaw University in 2016. Been on the basketball staff team at East Wake for 4 years.

Coach Upchurch

Assistant Head Coach

Coach Upchurch is from Durham North Carolina. Fellow Bull City silverback Alum (2016-2017). Graduated from Hillside High school in (2017). Member of the Hillside Basketball team that won the PAC-6 conference championship in (2017). Coach Upchurch will be Graduating from Winston-Salem State University in May (2021). He's currently completing his internship with the Wake Forest University Women's basketball team.
